Fred Maher related material
This section lists the songs and albums that Fred Maher has been involved with (aside from Scritti Politti).
James had tried to make this list complete but if you have any additions, please let me know.
The list has given the record company for singles and albums but please remember that these may be different in other countries.
Fred has been busy working on many projects, not just playing drums but producing and playing other instruments too. He has spent a long time as part of a musical nucleus with Robert Quine, Lloyd Cole and Matthew Sweet which has seen them all working on each other's songs. In 1988, Fred produced Information Society's self-titled debut album. Their single from the album, 'What's On Your Mind (Pure Energy)', almost topped the US Billboard chart at no.3, giving Fred the credit and reputation that he rightly deserves.
